Getting Started

As I sit here typing this post, I have a million things running through my head.  How do you start a blog?  What do you start with?  Okay, so I DO have another blog, but it's all travel related and I just sorta posted information and experiences there.  But here, I don't know what to begin with.

I guess for starters I should say that I am still working at this point in time.  I have a little over 30 school days left until I become a stay at home mom.  June 7th is my official last day working as a teacher.  In the mean time I think it is okay to start sharing some ideas.

I recently became interested in Montessori Method of education.  I visited a Montessori preschool a couple weeks back and loved what I saw going on in the rooms.  I love the kindness and love I could feel from the children.  I have plans to start reading more about it and incorporating some ideas in to our home.  I don't want to go all out with it, just a few aspects.  So some of the ideas I write about here may be Montessori related.

If anyone has special requests or ideas for what I can write about, please feel free to share.  I will do most of my writing at night, when Connor is asleep.  This blog may be infrequent, but I think any mom- working or at home- will understand why!

Well, I hope to see you back here soon :)

After teaching elementary school for nine years I was given the opportunity to stay home with my son. To learn more about what brought me to this point- read my About Nicole page.  This blog is dedicated to the adventures of being a stay at home mom and how to fill the days with fun and love.
